Teri Brickey is the Director of Portfolio Strategy and Solutions at the University of Tennessee Foundation. She has worked in prospect development for over twelve years, with experience ranging from a small local nonprofit, to a large national nonprofit, in addition to the arts and higher education. In every role, Teri has had a focus on ethics and due diligence, going back to her undergraduate degrees in Philosophy and Political Science. She loves to read, watch women’s sports and aims to travel to all seven continents in her lifetime.

Nan Nielsen is the Founder and Managing Director of Astra Diligence, a specialist due diligence consultancy based in Oxford, UK. A polyglot investigator with over a decade of experience in corporate investigation, prospect research and business intelligence, her work has focused on East Asia, particularly China-related enhanced due diligence and strategic advisory, serving clients ranging from top-ranking universities and multinational corporations to Europe's largest development finance institutions and multilateral development banks. A native Mandarin speaker, Nan is also fluent in English, Japanese and Spanish.

Katelin Newman serves as the Assistant Director of Development Research at the University of Michigan, where she leads the institution’s due diligence program and oversees the donor briefings that inform the University President’s highest-level engagements. With nearly eight years of experience in prospect development, Katelin acts as a strategic partner to a diverse portfolio of schools and units, helping fundraisers navigate the path from initial cultivation to successful solicitation. Katelin enjoys collaborating with peer organizations to continue to evolve or start their due diligence process and help research teams provide actionable insights for their fundraising successes.
