Apra’s committees are working groups comprised of dedicated volunteers who contribute time and effort to achieving annual goals. Each committee has a chair, a group of volunteers, a staff liaison and a board liaison. Apra leadership appoints chairs to serve for a one-year term; a committee charge, or direction for the year, exists for each as do role descriptions. The chair recruits members based on volunteer expertise, personal network or through submission of a volunteer interest form. Committees meet approximately once per month to share progress. The staff liaison provides both administrative assistance and strategic input. The board liaison is the link between the Board and the work of the committees. You may view the board liaison role description here.
Committee work is integral to the fulfillment of Apra’s strategic goals. Please consider serving on a committee to get involved, grow your network and share your talents. Indicate your interest in serving on a committee here.
