Exciting additions have been made this year to the 2014 Mid-Atlantic Researchers Conference (MARC), May 28-30 in Philadelphia, PA. If you are a prospect development, relationship management, advancement services professional or anyone else who is interested in enhancing non-profit fundraising outreach, you should plan to attend MARC to take advantage of the excellent education and networking opportunities – in addition to these new additions!
New education track: Developing Professional Relationships
The newest education track, Developing Professional Relationships, contains programs that assist individuals with strengthening their leadership, problem-solving, communication and management skills with research partners – including information on how to work with other departments, colleagues, etc.
New Researchers Symposium (May 27-28)
Research and fundraising professionals with less than two years of experience are encouraged to attend this interactive workshop prior to MARC. Covering the spectrum of prospect research and its role in the fundraising process, the symposium will give attendees a "beginners" perspective on topics like Web searching, relationship management, prospect identification and analytics, individual research, and more.
