On Tuesday, October 24, the Apra community tuned in for another interactive Apra Twitter Chat. Mallory Lass, Assistant Director of Project Management at UC Berkeley; Kelly Riutta, Director of Prospect Research at the University of Washington; and Adam Morrow, Assistant Director of Prospect Development at Harvard Business School, offered their expert insight on Breaking Down the Researcher’s Role.

Mallory, Kelly and Adam elaborated on how to split your time as a researcher and the different tactics researchers should use to better communicate and interact with fundraisers.

In this engaging discussion, 22,478 impressions were made via the 69 tweets and 10 contributors that participated, reaching more than 4,000 twitter accounts*.  A few highlights from the lively conversation include:

  • Never underestimate the relationship with a development officer
  • Once you launch model scores and focus on your own reporting skills, demand for analysis will increase
