For professionals from small and large organizations looking to build a fundamental foundation in data science, this course will demonstrate the data science process necessary for project success. It will also teach participants data science through the lens of fundraising and give them the opportunity to build their skills with hands-on practices and industry-specific knowledge.

Segmented into four sections, the course content is presented by Apra members and prospect development professionals and encompasses:

• An introduction to R and philanthropic terminology (~2.25 hours to complete)
• Data preparation (~2.25 hours to complete)
• Modeling (~ 2.5 hours to complete)
• Communication and implementation (~3 hours to complete)
