Requirements
The basic requirements, in addition to a willingness to be an active participant of a working board, stipulate that a candidate must:
- Be a voting APRA member in good standing
- Have been an APRA member in good standing for the 12-month period preceding the nomination
- Have worked at least three years in fundraising research, analytics and/or relationship management

Nomination Process
Complete the nomination form online to recommend a colleague or yourself for a Director position on the board. You may nominate as many people as you like; please submit one nomination form for each candidate. Nominations must be RECEIVED by fax or mail at the APRA office no later than March 6, 2014. We strongly encourage you to discuss your nomination with the candidate before submission to determine his or her interest and willingness to potentially serve as a member of the APRA Board because candidates are required to submit a candidate statement, candidate agreement, resume, and references by March 13, 2014. Further information on these submission requirements can be found here.
The Nominations Committee will review all nominations received by the deadline to determine the slate of candidates that will be presented to the membership in April. Each position will be elected directly by the membership.
