The Quarter 4 issue of APRA Connections is here! This issue's cover story delves into Hong Kong's philanthropy market. Philanthropy is on the rise there and across Asia, as demonstrated by the increase in the number of family foundations, an increase in charitable giving and a developing nonprofit sector.
Also included in this issue is a feature titled "Personal Passion Meets Endless Need: Miscellaneous Thoughts on the Adventure of Major Gift Prospecting." The author looks back at his career and realizes that preparing major gift prospect referrals was the most inspiring part.
A third feature provides a brief tour of social network analysis techniques. Much of the data on social media sites is public and can provide a fascinating picture of how individuals relate to one another and your organization.
The quarter 4 issue also includes a vendor forum article on young alumni engagement, as well as a message from APRA President Karen T. Isble and APRA Executive Director Janet Rapp.

We hope you enjoy this issue!
