APRA is thrilled to announce the release of the Quarter 1 issue of Connections in its new, digital format. You will notice that the format is similar to a printed magazine, but — being digital — it provides additional functionality to increase access and usability. You have the ability to zoom in and enlarge pages, download copies for later offline viewing and share articles via social media sites.
As thrilling as the new platform is, Connections would be nothing without high-quality content, and the Quarter 1 issue delivers. The cover story, “New Skill Sets: Prospect Researchers Championing Relationship Management Systems,” offers recommendations to create accurate, timely and useful reports.
The issue also features an article on avoiding bad data in international prospect research, a highlight of some of the best parts of APRA’s 2012 Relationship Management Symposium, and a personal story of how one prospect researcher, through volunteering, experienced a profound career moment.
APRA is also excited to announce David Eberly as the new editor-in-chief. David is a former editor-in-chief of the publication and has served on the APRA Board of Directors. He is also the current chair of the APRA Ethics Committee. If you are interested in contributing content to APRA Connections or joining the editorial advisory committee, contact David at davidmeberly@gmail.com.
If you have any questions about the functionality of Connections, please click on the Help button (identified by a question mark) in the upper right corner of the viewer. You can also email Managing Editor Dennis Coyle.
We hope you enjoy this issue! Read it now.
