We always use the word "data" in our workplace, but for many, becoming "data-driven" can still feel like a challenge. Our DAS closing keynote speaker, Hilary Parker, will speak about how to go beyond the science and art applications of data. You will learn how to make informed decisions that are influenced by the field of design and design thinking.
Hilary Parker is a data scientist on the styling recommendations team at Stitch Fix, a personal styling service that uses a combination of human stylists and algorithmic recommendations to help people find what they love. At Stitch Fix, she focuses on what sorts of data to collect from clients in order to optimize clothing recommendations, as well as building out prototypes of algorithms or entirely new products based on new data sources.
Attend Hilary's DAS session on Thursday, August 1 at 4:00 p.m. When you register for Prospect Development 2019, make sure you add the Data Analytics Symposium (DAS) to your registration! DAS is a two-day program the covers analytics, fundraising and best practices.
