Ethics in AI for Fundraising Toolkit

The increasing adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) in prospect development raises several compliance issues and ethical considerations. These issues include the potential perpetuation of biases and errors in data, the protections of donor privacy and organizations’ confidentiality, the need to review new third party vendors’ ethical behaviors and the need for continual human review of AI tools.

Given the fast-paced evolution of AI, this toolkit is designed to provide resources to development professionals to help them implement AI responsibly into their work, while also promoting ethical AI practices within their organizations.
